So it is not bad to learn more about them.
Bluethooth
It goes without saying that you should only turn on bluethooth when you need it and turn it back of if you don't need it.
Not only do you save your battery, you also close a potential attack vector.
There are several options to make bluethooth more secure.
Most GSM allow the option to make your device invisible to other. Although security through obscurity is no security, It can't hurt.
Authentication (passkey) is also an option that is best turn on.
wifi
More and more (smart)-phones or PDA's have also wifi build in.
Here count same security measures as for all wifi-devices.
Stolen
When your cellphone is stolen, you can give the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) of your device to your Mobile-operator or the authorities to block it.
It is unique to every device.
Usually this number can be found on the back of the device (Where the battery is.)
On most phones the IMEI is displayed by typing the following:

Software version
If you want to know the software version/Firmware version of your phone it can be done by typing:

If the above code is not known you can try:
*#9999#
The following codes check the call divert settings. This is a network service. You'll need to hit the green call key after entering these codes.
Checks if "all calls" are diverted, and to which number they are routed (usually your voicemail).
*#21#
Turn on "All Calls" diverting to the phone number entered.
**21*number#
Checks if your phone number is hidden or not.
*#30#
Checks if call waiting is enabled. If it is, you'll be notified if incoming calls if you're already calling someone else.
*#43#
Checks if calls are diverted if you don't answer your phone, to which number they are routed (usually your vocemail), and how long your phone will ring before the call is diverted.
*#61#
Turn on "No Reply" diverting to the phone number entered.
**61*number#
Checks if calls are diverted if you're out of network reach, and to which number they are routed (usually your voicemail).
*#62#
Checks if calls are diverted if your phone is busy, and to which number they are routed (usually your voicemail).
*#67#
Turn on "On Busy" diverting to the phone number entered.
**67*number#
