This threat can create files on your PC, including:

  • \win\logs.dat
  • \win\plugin.dat


It modifies the registry so that it runs each time you start your PC. For example:

In subkey: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\{MGM5XI3D-677K-NP10-411I-RX8TPT06L76O}
Sets value: "StubPath"
With data: "\win\explorer.exe restart"
In subkey: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Sets value: "explorer"
With data: "\win\explorer.exe"


The malware uses code injection to make it harder to detect and remove. It can inject code into running processes.

It can stop some processes from running on your PC, including:

  • conhost.exe
