Threat behavior Trojan:Win32/Naporjap.A is a malicious program that is unable to spread of its own accord. It may perform a number of actions of an attacker's choice on an affected computer.

Installation

When it runs, Trojan:Win32/Naporjap.A copies itself to c:\documents and settings\administrator\application data\systems.exe. The malware modifies the following registry entry so that it runs each time you start your PC:

Adds value: "(default)"
With data: "c:\documents and settings\administrator\application data\systems.exe"
To subkey: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run The malware creates the following files on your computer:

  • c:\documents and settings\administrator\application data\npf.jpg
  • c:\documents and settings\administrator\application data\verinf.tmz
