This threat can create files on your PC, including:
- %ProgramFiles%\adobe\adobe help viewer\1.0\ahv.exe
- %TEMP%\lixclhbp.exe
\guppmlcp.lnk
It modifies the registry so that it runs each time you start your PC. For example:
In subkey: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Sets value: "gUPpMLCP"
With data: "%TEMP%\lixclhbp.exe"

Encrypts files
This ransomware encrypts files and appends the extension name "!______sufnex331@gmail.com______.crypt"
Other variants are known to append the following extension names:
- .-.directorat1c@gmail.com.roto
- !__crypthelp12@gmail.com_.crypt
- !______bigromintol971@gmail.com______.crypt
The general format is usually "!________.crypt or _____.roto".
Note: This ransomware can be a destructive malware since it can encrypt system files, and for that reason, can render the system unbootable on the next system startup.
