Explanation :

A trojan that secretly installs spy programs, such as keyloggers.

Additional DetailsTrojan-Spy:W32/Papras.EL is a dll file that is loaded using rundll32.exe. It is observed to steal sensitive data such as user ID, password and network socket.

Execution

Upon execution, it creates the following files:
€ %localsettings%\History\desktop.ini € %cookies%\index.dat However, these files are removed after execution

To mark its presence in the system, it creates mutexes such as these:
€ {9a74cd60-a13f-3d92-94c9-080de6e37ac7} € Local\{eb3c901d-d2d8-b857-a1ca-659e7b8cdf80}

Registry

The malware creates these registry keys:
€ HKCU\SOFTWARE\AppDataLow € HKCU\SOFTWARE\AppDataLow\{60ecdd11-f33c-356b-d5ce-d9e2cf307364}
The registry key HKCU\SOFTWARE\AppDataLow\{60ecdd11-f33c-356b-d5ce-d9e2cf307364} will see the following values added to it:
€ k1 = 1604692393 (random numbers) € k2 = 1074269778 (random numbers)
