Backdoor:Win32/Moudoor.D is a trojan that allows unauthorized access and control of an affected computer. Backdoor:Win32/Moudoor.D is a member of the Backdoor:Win32/Moudoor family of backdoor trojans, a family of trojans that steal sensitive data, allow unauthorized access and control of your computer, and download and execute arbitrary files.

  • <system folder>\kb1035627.dat
Note: <system folder> refers to a variable location that is determined by the malware by querying the Operating System. The default installation location for the System folder for Windows 2000 and NT is C:\Winnt\System32; and for XP, Vista, and 7 is C:\Windows\System32. Payload Allows backdoor access and control Backdoor:Win32/Moudoor.D allows unauthorized access and control of an affected computer. An attacker can perform any number of different actions on an affected computer using Backdoor:Win32/Moudoor.D. This could include, but is not limited to, the following actions:
  • Download and execute arbitrary files
  • Upload files
  • Spread to other computers using various methods of propagation
  • Log keystrokes or steal sensitive data
  • Modify system settings
  • Run or terminate applications
  • Delete files
