VirTool:INF/Autorun.gen!F is also known as INF/AutoRun.FY (Norman), INF/Autorun (ESET), VirTool.INF.Autorun (Ikarus), W32/Autorun-BFW (Sophos).
Explanation :
VirTool:INF/Autorun.gen!F is a generic detection for an "autorun.inf" file created by malware. This file is designed to replace the text of the default "Open" entry in the Autoplay dialog to "Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer", leading the malware to be executed instead of Windows Explorer when the action is selected. It should be noted that autorun.inf files on their own are not necessarily a sign of infection, as they are used by legitimate programs and installation CDs.
