Installation
This threat can create files on your PC, including:

  • %ProgramFiles%\google chrome\help34.exe
  • %ProgramFiles%\google chrome\help35.exe
  • %ProgramFiles%\google chrome\setup4.exe
  • %TEMP%\hyd7b66.tmp.1445772116\hta\install.1445772116.zip


It modifies the registry so that it runs each time you start your PC. For example:

In subkey: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Sets value: "Help34.exe"
With data: "%ProgramFiles%\google chrome\help34.exe"
Sets value: "Help35.exe"
With data: "%ProgramFiles%\google chrome\help35.exe"


The malware uses code injection to make it harder to detect and remove. It can inject code into running processes.
