Explanation :
The Trojan may compromise Steam accounts through other malware or if the user clicks on a link in a message received through Steam's chat feature. The following are examples of the Steam chat messages that have been used to spread the Trojan: WTF Dude? [http://]screen-pictures.com/img[REMOVED]Hi, I know you. We are familiar from the school)) [http://]bit.ly/1uV[REMOVED]
The Trojan may then perform the following actions: Steal Steam itemsSend stolen Steam items to another Steam accountSend messages with malicious links to other contacts on the compromised Steam profile in order to spread itself
Accept or decline trade offers on the Steam website through the compromised Steam accountLog incoming trade offersLast update 19 November 2014
