ntpd adjtime failed: Invalid argument

Hi,

I have the following messages in my logs:

ntpd[1719]: adjtime failed: Invalid argument

is the ntpd not functioning correctly?

I think the time difference was too big.

and my timezone was set wrong.
Adjusted the time zone

nano /etc/timezone

rm /etc/localtime 
ln -s /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Brussels /etc/localtime

and set the correct time with date
also the hardware clock

hwclock --systohc

Restarted the ntpd,

/etc/init.d/ntpd restart

and now it is working normally
