Summary:
EMC UIM/P 4.1 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that could potentially be exploited by malicious users to compromise the affected system.

Details:
EMC UIM/P contains an authentication bypass vulnerability when configured to use LDAP authentication. An attacker with knowledge of a valid username could potentially exploit this vulnerability to gain unauthorized access to UIM/P systems.

Resolution:
The following EMC UIM/P hotfix contains resolutions to these vulnerabilities:
• EMC UIM/P LDAP Authentication Hotfix

EMC recommends all customers apply the hotfix at the earliest opportunity.
