Summary:
EMC Unisphere for VMAX 8.0.3.4 contains a fix for a remote code execution vulnerability that could potentially be exploited by malicious users to compromise the affected system.

Details:
EMC Unisphere for VMAX enables the Java Debug Wire Protocol (JDWP) service, which could potentially allow remote unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code on the affected system.

Resolution:
The following EMC Unisphere for VMAX release contains resolutions to these vulnerabilities:
• EMC Unisphere for VMAX 8.0.3.4

EMC recommends all customers upgrade at the earliest opportunity. If you are unable to upgrade at this time, a workaround has been documented in KB 203708 (https://emc--c.na5.visual.force.com/apex/KB_BreakFix_1?id=kA1700000001LOA).
