Details:
EMC Documentum xMS contains a security fix to address a sensitive information disclosure vulnerability where Windows Service user credentials may potentially be exposed in plaintext within batch files during provisioning of EMC Documentum Platform or xCelerated Composition Platform (xCP).
Resolution:
The following EMC xMS version contains the security fix to address this vulnerability:
EMC Documentum xMS 1.1 P14
EMC strongly recommends all customers to upgrade to the above version at the earliest opportunity.
Existing customers of xMS version prior to 1.1 P14 must manually remove xMSHome.xmschServPerm*.bat from the already provisioned xCP/Platform stack environments.
