A trojan that secretly downloads malicious files from a remote server, then installs and executes the files.

Additional DetailsTrojan-Downloader:W32/Agent.MRL may be dropped onto the system as part of the payload of another malware, such as Exploit:W32/AdobeReader.UZ.

Execution

On execution, Agent.MRL will attempt to download a file from a remote site. If successful, the downloaded file will be executed on the infected machine.
