A trojan that contains one or more malicious programs, which it will secretly install and execute.
Additional DetailsTrojan-Dropper:SymOS/StealWar is a family of trojan programs, which are usually distributed as malicious SIS files.
On execution, StealWar drops the following Symbian malware onto the system:
€ Bluetooth-Worm:SymbOS/Cabir.A € Bluetooth-Worm:SymbOS/Cabir.K € Worm:SymbOS/Commwarrior.A € Trojan:SymbOS/Pbstealer.A
The combined effect of the installed malwares is to produce heavy Bluetooth traffic, caused by the resending of installed Cabir and Commwarrior variants.
There is also the effect of leaking phonebook information to phones within Bluetooth range.Last update 12 July 2010
