TrojanDownloader:JS/PrivacyCenter is a JavaScript component that downloads or tricks a user into downloading the threat Win32/PrivacyCenter. Win32/PrivacyCenter is a family of programs that claims to scan for malware and displays fake warnings of €œmalicious programs and viruses€. They then inform the user that they need to pay money to register the software in order to remove these non-existent threats.

Win32/PrivacyCenter is a family of programs that claims to scan for malware and displays fake warnings of €œmalicious programs and viruses€. Some variants pop up a confirmation box titled "Your computer is strongly infected by viruses!" with the text "It can cause data loss and file damages and need to be cured as soon as possible".
