A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives:

- Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

The system could be made to crash or run programs as an administrator.

Details:

Andy Lutomirski discovered a flaw with the Linux kernel's ptrace syscall =
on
x86_64 processors. An attacker could exploit this flaw to cause a denial =
of
service (System Crash) or potential gain administrative privileges.

Update instructions:

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following
package versions:

After a standard system update you need to reboot your computer to make
