Synopsis
========
Multiple vulnerabilities have been found in Konqueror, the worst of
which may allow execution of arbitrary code.

Background
==========
Konqueror is the KDE web browser and file manager.

Affected packages
=================
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Package / Vulnerable / Unaffected
-------------------------------------------------------------------
1 kde-base/konqueror < 4.9.3-r1 >= 4.9.3-r1

Description
===========
Multiple vulnerabilities have been discovered in Konqueror. Please
review the CVE identifiers referenced below for details.

Impact
======
A remote attacker could entice a user to open a specially crafted web
site using Konqueror, possibly resulting in the execution of arbitrary
code with the privileges of the process or a Denial of Service
condition

Workaround
==========
There is no known workaround at this time.

Resolution
==========
All Konqueror users should upgrade to the latest version:

# emerge --sync
# emerge --ask --oneshot --verbose ">=kde-base/konqueror-4.9.3-r1"

NOTE: This is a legacy GLSA. Updates for all affected architectures are
available since November 11, 2012. It is likely that your system is
already no longer affected by this issue.
