A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives:

- Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
- Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Summary:

Yelp could be made to expose sensitive information if it opened a specially
crafted help document.

Software Description:
- yelp: Help browser for GNOME

Details:

It was discovered that Yelp allowed help documents to execute arbitrary
scripts. An attacker could possibly use this issue to trick a user into
opening a specially crafted help document and obtain sensitive information.

Update instructions:

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following
package versions:

Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
yelp 3.26.0-1ubuntu2+esm2
Available with Ubuntu Pro

Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
yelp 3.18.1-1ubuntu4+esm2
Available with Ubuntu Pro

In general, a standard system update will make all the necessary changes.
