Synopsis

A vulnerability has been found in Evince which may allow for arbitrary
command execution.
Background

Evince is a document viewer for multiple document formats, including
PostScript.

Description
===========
A vulnerability was discovered in Evince's handling of filenames while
printing PDF files.
Impact
======
A remote attacker, by enticing the user to process a specially crafted
file, could execute arbitrary commands.
Workaround
==========
There is no known workaround at this time.
Resolution
==========
All Evince users should upgrade to the latest version:
# emerge --sync
# emerge --ask --oneshot --verbose ">=app-text/evince-3.24.2-r1"
