Slackware Security[slackware-security] mariadb (SSA:2017-251-02)
New mariadb packages are available for Slackware 14.1 and 14.2 to
fix security issues.
Here are the details from the Slackware 14.2 ChangeLog:

Installation instructions:

Upgrade the package as root:
# upgradepkg mariadb-10.0.32-i586-1_slack14.2.txz
Then, restart the database server:
# sh /etc/rc.d/rc.mysqld restart
