A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives:

Summary:
Several security issues were fixed in OpenVPN.
Software Description:

Details:
USN-3339-1 fixed several issues in OpenVPN. This update
provides the corresponding update for Ubuntu 12.04 ESM.

=C2=A0Guido Vranken discovered that OpenVPN incorrectly handled an HTTP
=C2=A0proxy with NTLM authentication. A remote attacker could use this issu=
e
=C2=A0to cause OpenVPN clients to crash, resulting in a denial of service,
=C2=A0or possibly expose sensitive memory contents. (CVE-2017-7520)
Update instructions:
The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following
