Synopsis

A vulnerability in Git might allow remote attackers to bypass security
restrictions.

Background
==========
Git is a free and open source distributed version control system
designed to handle everything from small to very large projects with
speed and efficiency.

Affected packages
=================
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Package / Vulnerable / Unaffected
-------------------------------------------------------------------
1 dev-vcs/git < 2.13.0 >= 2.13.0

Description
===========

filtered allowed commands.

Impact
======
A remote attacker could possibly bypass security restrictions and
access sensitive information.

Workaround
==========
There is no known workaround at this time.

Resolution
==========
All Git users should upgrade to the latest version:

# emerge --sync
# emerge --ask --oneshot --verbose ">=dev-vcs/git-2.13.0"
