Hi,

I have setup my samba share with symbolic links to other dirs.

But since my latest update id doesn't work anymore.
I see the symbolic links, but can't open them.

Here is the code for my share in smb.conf

  comment = Share
  path = /var/share
  valid users = pguest
  public = no
  writable = yes
  printable = no

After some searching I found the solution.

You need to add the following lines in smb.conf
under [global] (Not [share])

  follow symlinks = yes
  wide links = yes
  unix extensions = no

It seams that in the latest version it has been disabled as default,
because it is considered a security risk.
