Severity Rating: Important - Revision Note: V1.8 (February 11, 2009): Removed erroneous reference to Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (WMSDE) on Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 from the Affected Software table for Windows Components. Also changed the log file entry in the Reference table for Windows Internal Database (WYukon) in the Security Update Deployment section.Summary: This security update resolves four privately disclosed vulnerabilities. The more serious of the vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to run code and to take complete control of an affected system. An authenticated attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full administrative rights.
